Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving! We spent the morning eating pancakes and watching the Macy's parade on tv. We still do dinner at both families houses, although each year I wonder if life would be easier if we just switched off. We had our first dinner at the Wright's, and then a later dinner at the Baigue's. I'll post more pictures soon, this was just my pick of the day:

Aspen's First Haircut

Aspen has had her bangs cut before but this was her first REAL haircut. She was really excited because Mom and Dad have both had haircuts and she wanted to be big too. Thanks to Debbie for doing such a great job and making it so fun for Aspen. Debbie even gave her a sucker when it was all done.

Yummy Carrots!

Bentley's first taste of carrots. I had to give her graham crackers to help get them in.

Almost Overflowing the Tub, etc...

A peek at our day...
Row 1. I love to catch these little moments to remember them forever: Aspen and Bentley watching cartoons together. Aspen wanted a turn with the camera and took many pictures of Bentley- this is her best one. She also wanted to take a picture of her feet.
Row 2. I left the water running and almost overflowed the tub. Luckily Adam was home and caught it (I'm embarrased to say how often he has to run into the bathroom to turn the water off for Aspen's baths, although never this high before. Adam told Aspen to call for me if the water ever gets too high and she's actually done it. It's sad that she's had to.

Halloween

I felt like the Halloween festivities would never end. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Halloween, but I really had had enough of the costumes, the candy, and the running around. We only trick-or-treated 4 houses on Halloween night. I was glad we had done the Trick-or-Treat Street so I didn't feel like we had cheated Aspen. Two of the houses we visited were Adam's parents' and my parents'.

1)Mom with Bentley as Snow White and Aspen as Cinderella 2)Bentley ready to go 3)Trick-or Treat, Grandma 4)Grandma and Grandpa 5)Trick or Treat, Papi 6)Bentley LOVES Papi's glasses 7)Papi and Mamie 8)My parents are refinishing their front room, so the couches were pushed together to make room for all the work they are doing. Aspen is trying to take off Mamie's socks, I guess to make her more compfortable 9)Bentley beating up Papi with her shoe 10)She really LOVES his glasses 11)Bentley and Mamie 12) Papi counting Aspen's toes

Trick-or-Treat Street

Saturday before Halloween, we went to the Trick-or-Treat Steet at the South Town Expo Center with our good friends Brad and Melissa and their two girls Isabel (Arial) and Addison (a fairy). Our girls were princesses. Aspen was Cinderella and Bentley was Snow White. We had a great time and got A LOT of candy. Aspen is still talking about Isabel being The Little Mermaid.
